We recommend landlords install Aico mains powered alarms with lithium Ion battery back up as these negate the need to change all of the back up batteries annually in rental property avoiding the risk of 5 figure fines from the local authority.

Weekly Testing

If you have a property with a Grade A fire alarm system, it should be tested weekly to ensure the safety of the occupants. Outwoods Electrical will test your fire alarm system weekly to help you maintain compliance. Unlike some other companies we won’t just test the sounders, we’ll activate a different manual call point (break glass) each week to ensure your system is fully operational.
